Tackling childhood poverty with Anywise
Melbourne – There’s a new kid on the block in the not-for-profit space, and they have hit the ground running! Imagine Re-Evolution Ltd (or Imagine as they prefer to be called) believes that every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and this organisation would like to give them a fair go to do just that.
Imagine’s sole aim is to empower youth and help break the cycle of childhood poverty; they plan to do this through community engagement, educational programs, sustainability projects, and skill building.bAfter officially launching in early November 2022, Imagine joined forces with the boutiquebconsulting firm, Anywise, which has come on board as a Platinum Partner to help address the childhood poverty pandemic that only seems to be growing.
“We have been blown away by the vision and dedication of the leadership team at Imagine Re-Evolution, and we are proud to be doing our small part in helping them make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged youth,” says Adam Evans, Managing Director, Anywise.
“Did you know that according to the Australian Council of Social Services nearly 16,100 young people living out of homecare? We can’t let these children feel any more abandoned... they need to feel valued, to feel seen, and to feel as part of a greater community,” says Jayne Clarke, founder of Imagine.
One of Imagine’s key projects will support and empower young people with the skills and knowledge to reimagine hard rubbish into upcycled products for sale and reinvestment. This project not only engages youth and creates pathways for work opportunities, but it also diverts the number of items thrown into landfill.
“Plus, by engaging with companies like Anywise and members of the community and placing children as the heart of what we do, together we can all play a pivotal role in helping transform the world into a better place for all mankind,” continues Jayne.
